I am a Diy freak, I love to diy all my face masks, hair masks and hair oils at home so if you find me reviewing any of these products like a face mask or a hair oil on my blog then those products are definitely worth a try. Today I will be reviewing the Mama Earth Ubtan Face Mask. I have been using it for over a month now and it is a great substitute for the good old ubtan that we have been using  in our households since our childhood. Step 1

My Experience with the Mama Earth Ubtan Face Mask:

The Mama Earth Ubtan Face Mask comes in a green and white cardboard packaging with all the details about the product mentioned on the box. The face mask comes in a big plastic tub with a screw lid which is very travel friendly. You also get a tiny spatula with it for application of the face mask. The Mama Earth Ubtan Face Mask is sort of muddy yellow in colour and has a very thick consistency. The mask has a very strong smell to it but it is not at all overpowering or something that will give you a headache. It has a lot of natural ingredients like saffron, turmeric and apricot oil so the smell of the mask is mainly of the natural ingredients which is very soothing and comforting. It smells like you have whipped up a face mask at home, no artificial fragrance has been added to it and this is something that I like the most about Mama Earth products.

The Mama Earth Ubtan Face Mask has a very thick consistency so I like to add in 5-6 drops of rose hydrosol to it and then I apply it all over my face and neck. The face mask gives a little bit of tingling sensation on application which might be due to the presence of glycolic acid in it. The tingling sensation goes off within a minute after application. It takes around 20 minutes to dry completely after which I wash it of with lukewarm water. The face mask helps to get rid of sun tan very effectively, if you have excessive tanning on your face and neck, it might take 4-5 applications to get rid of it completely. Once you wash off the mask you will notice instant brightness on your face, it makes your skin appear very smooth and soft post application. The Mama Earth Ubtan Face Mask removes sun tan and also helps in brightening the skin. I have been using this face mask for around a month now and I am really happy with the results. It makes my skin look much more brighter and it has also helped me in lightening a few sun spots that I had on my cheeks and around my nose.
