Hello everyone,today I will be reviewing a super luxurious hair mask from the high end luxury brand Kerastase,it is the Kerastase Elixir Ultime Beautifying Oil Masque.I had always wanted to buy Kerastase products as I had read somewhere that Kareena Kapoor also uses Kerastase products and I love how beautiful and shiny Kareena’s hair look.

Kerastase is a expensive and high end luxury brand. I was super excited when I recieved a Kerastase mask  and a shampoo in my October Envy Box.I have used the mask and the shampoo and today I will be sharing with you the review of the Kerastase Elixir Ultime Beautifying Oil Masque.The review of the Kerastase Elixir Ultime Sublime Cleansing Oil Shampoo will be up on the blog tomorrow.

This masque comes in a golden coloured opaque tub with a screw lid.The tub carries all the important information about the product on it.You have to dig in your fingers to get the product out of the tub or you can use a spatula to take out the product from the tub.

How to apply the Kerastase Elixir Ultime Beautifying Oil Masque:

◦ Apply a quarter sized amount to the mid lengths and ends of hair.

◦ Massage throughout paying close attention to the ends and comb through for even distribution.

◦ Leave for 5-10 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

Texture/Consistency of the the Kerastase Elixir Ultime Beautifying Oil Masque

The masque is goldenish yellow in colour and has very tiny,fine and shimmery particles in it.It is light weight and creamy in texture.Unlike most hair masques the product has little less thick consistency.It is not a very thick cream,it has sort of a runny consistency.It is easy to spread on the hair and it is easy to rinse off too.

The fragrance of the product is to die for.It smells heavenly,you have to smell it to believe it.My hair smells so nice after the wash and the smell lingers on my hair for a day or two.

My experience with the the Kerastase Elixir Ultime Beautifying Oil Masque

To start with I have oily and long,wavy and frizzy hair,I usually take a coin sized amount of the product in my fingers,rub the between the fingers and apply it to my towel dried hair.I apply it to my hair length,starting from the nape of my neck to the ends of my hair.I let the masque sit on my hair for 5-6 minutes and then I wash it off with normal water.

The result is silky,soft,smooth,conditioned and manageable hair.I have noticed that my hair does not tangle a bit after using this masque and combing my hair is just a  matter of seconds because there are no tangles.It leaves my hair feeling silky and shiny and a lot more manageable.

I use it once a week and my hair feels nourished and soft after the usage.My hair stays frizz free and manageable till my next wash.I really adore the way my hair feels post usage of this masque.This product does not disappoint me at all.It gives a salon like appearance to my dull tresses.This product is worth every penny you splurge on it and it definitely lives upto all its claims.

One thing that I do not like about this product is that it does not give any volume to my hair instead it weighs down my hair a bit.I would have liked it a little more if it would  have given my flat hair a bit of volume.
