Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Face Oil Review
Hello Everyone,
This is probably one of those blog posts for which I am super duper excited. Finally after so many hits and misses I have found my holy grail product and I can say that this product is going to be on my vanity as long as I live. As I had told you guys earlier that now I have decided that I will invest in skin care products rather than spending on makeup. I have shit loads of makeup and I basically don’t wear makeup that often. I love healthy, glowing and dewy skin and recently I have been loving pampering my skin with face oils. I have extremely dry skin and in the winters it gets all the more dull and patchy but ever since I have started using this product…oh my god, my skin is just loving it. So without praising the product any more let’s start with an in depth review.

My Take on the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Face Oil:
The Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Face Oil comes in a white cardboard packaging with all the details about the product on the carton. The face oil comes in a amber coloured bottle with a dropper so that you can ooze out as much product is needed for your skin. The consistency of the face oil is a tad bit thicker than water and has a very faint and soothing smell which fades off after a minute of application.
The Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Face Oil is a very light weight facial oil which sinks and gets absorbed into the skin like a dream and leaves behind no oiliness or greasiness whatsoever. It is a very hydrating oil and it hydrates and nourishes my dry skin. I apply the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Face Oil twice a day, in the morning and at night on my cleansed and toned face. I require 5 drops of this face oil and it covers my face and neck in just 5 drops. I take 1 drop and apply to my under eye dark circles, I apply the second drop on my nose where I have some sun spots and freckles. Then I take 1 more drop and apply it to my forehead because my forehead is a tad bit darker than my entire face. At last, I take 2 drops, warm it between my fingers and then I apply it to my complete face and neck. I massage it for a minute and it sinks into my skin within a few second of application.
The Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Face Oil contains a blend of sweet almond oil, sesame oil, coconut oil, macadamia nut oil, apricot oil, grapeseed oil, argan oil, rosehip oil, camelina oil and sunflower oil with cocoa butter, Vitamin C, Cetesomate-E and Retinol. It is paraben free, phthalate free, has been tested by dermatologist and the best part is that it is non-comedogenic, means that it has been formulated so as not to clog the skin pores.
I have been using this product for the past 1 month and I am seriously addicted to it. I have a habit that whenever I am trying a new skin care product I usually do not use any other highly effective skin care product with it so that I can know the effects of that product on my skin. I cleanse my face with my Diy powder cleanser, then I tone with Forest Essentials Rose Facial Mist and apply the Skin Therapy Face Oil on top. I massage it into my skin for a minute and then I top it with my sunscreen. That’s my complete skin care routine in the morning and at well as night.
I am in love with this face oil, I have always had good and healthy skin but my skin has never felt so good ever. It has been looking much more clearer, it has evened out my skin tone, I am seeing a bit reduction in my dark circles and the best part about this face oil is that it has almost… and when I say almost, I mean almost, it has completely reduced the pores on my skin. I have large open pores on my cheeks and around my nose area but after using this face oil for a month, they have completely shrinked and my skin texture has improved so much. My skin feels so soft, as soft as a baby’s skin, I keep touching my cheeks all day because they have never felt so soft ever in my life. My complexion has also lightened a bit and my faces looks so glowing and rejuvenated. Seriously I am so truly, madly and deeply in love with this one.
I had purchased the Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution last year, it sort of lightened my freckles a bit but apart from that, it didn’t do anything for my skin. I was so upset it because it was very expensive and it didn’t fulfill its claims at all. I had decided that after the Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution finishes I will try the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate or the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II but after the bad experience I didn’t had the courage to splurge on any expensive skin care product. One day while searching for face oils I came across the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Face Oil and I ordered it on the go because I think this face oil is the most economical face oil that is available in the Indian market. This product feel so light on the skin so even girls with oily skin can use this because it is so light weight.
I am just half way through this bottle and I have reordered it because I don’t want to run out of it. So guys, if you are looking for a good face oil to nourish and moisturize your skin, to fade away dark spots, to even out the complexion or to shrink the size of your pores then go ahead and order this one right now. You will fall in love with it.

Hi Yamini, Great post. Loved how your skin care routine is so simple and includes organic products only. I am so curious to know which sunscreen do you use?
Hi Geetika. I am yet to find a sunscreen that I really love, but these days I am using the Neutrogena sunscreen. It is pretty good, certainly not the best but a decent one.
