Hello everyone,I am back with the review of Mac Gorgeous Gold Eyeshadow Review and Swatches.it is a beautiful gold-green duo chrome eyeshadow.
I have been an ardent fan of Mac eyeshadows because of their texture,their vibrant colours,their blendibility and their pigmentation and Gorgeous Gold is just one more to my addition.I went to the Mac store to look for a subtle golden eyeshadow and the SA suggested me to try out Gorgeous Gold.I fell in love with the texture and the colour the moment she applied it on my eyelids.
Mac describes Gorgeous Gold as a muted yellow-gold.It is from their Veluxe Pearl range.
Mac says that it is a highly pigmented powder that applies evenly and blends well.

Shade:Gorgeous Gold is described as a muted yellow-gold with a a hint of green in it.It does not show off that green hint in the pan but once it is applied to the eyelid it gives a hint of green shade to it.
Texture:Mac Gorgeous Gold is from the veluxe pearl finish which is very soft and creamy in texture.It is a nicely milled powder.It blends like a dream and I usually work this gold with my light greens and olives.
Pigmentation:It is a highly pigmented powder,not at all powdery.I usually like to layer this eyeshadow to make it a bit intense but in that case also there are no complaints of any fall out or so.
Staying Power:I usually apply a eye primer underneath my eyeshadows and this one stays on my lids for a good 6-7 hours without creasing or fading.Once I applied without a primer and in that case the colour pay off is not nice,it needs a lot of layering to achieve the needed colour.
My take on the Mac Eyeshadow Gorgeous Gold
I just love how beautifully Mac Eyeshadow Gorgeous Gold can be used with so many eyeshadows.Gorgeous Gold is yellow in colour but if you look closely at it you get to see a hint og green in it.It is ideal for pairing with pinks, purples,green and olives.It is a soft pearly finish,smooth textured powder and excellent colour pay off.It blends like a dream,doesn’t get patchy or creasy.I just love eyerything about Gorgeous Gold.

1.It is a beautiful subtle yellow toned gold eyeshadow with a hint of gold in it.

What I do not like about Mac Eyeshadow Gorgeous Gold
1.Expensive.
Gorgeous Gold is a perfect lid colour,I think it will be perfect festive colour too.I would definitely recommend it to everyone whose in search of a golden colour.Go ahead and grab it as soon as possible.
