ColorPop Lumiere Lippie Stix Review
Hello Everyone,
Guys I recently bought the ColorPop Lumiere Lippie Stix which was launched in collaboration with the most sweetest Youtuber Kathleen Lights. I know I am really really late on the bandwagon as ColorPop was launched way back in 2014 and it is 2018 now and this is my first ever purchase from them. I really wanted to get hold of ColorPop products but the process of shipping from US and then the customs thing really held me back from ordering the stuff and here in India it was almost double the price on Insta stores. Last month I finally decided to try ColorPop Lippie Stix and as Kathleen is my most favourite Youtuber I decided to buy Lumiere. I am a bright color lipstick lover, my stash is full of reds and pinks and oranges and maroons, I am not at all into nudes and dusty mauves but this time I picked up lumiere which is a matte dusty mauve pink shade. So let’s start reviewing my first purchase from ColorPop.

My Take on the ColorPop Lumiere Lippie Stix:
The lippie stix comes in a minty green sleek cardboard packaging with white polka dots all over with the company and product name on it. The lipstick comes in a long white bullet packaging which is color coded on one side. Once you open the cap the retractable part of the lippe stix is also color coded. The lipstick bullet is pretty thin as compared to other lipsticks. I have very thin lips so the thin bullet isn’t an issue for me but for someone with fuller lips will have to go in 3-4 times to cover your full lips.
The company claims that it is a matte formula but I would say it is a creamy matte. It is not that drying on the lips and is very creamy. It does not have a mate finish and it also transfers a lot while eating or sipping on some drinks. It does settle into fine lines on the lips so lips exfoliation is a must before application of this lipstick. It is not a super matte formula, it is kind of semi matte with a creamy texture to it which is very comfortable on the lips.
The pigmentation of the lipstick is quiet good, you just need to swipe it once on the lips and you are good to go. It covers all the pigmentation on the lips so that is a good aspect of this lippie. I hate when lip pigmentation peeps out through the lipstick.
Now coming to the shade of Lumiere Lippie Stix, I mean this shade shows up differently on different skin tones. Means it looks a nude brown sort of shade on Kathleen Lights, it looks like a dusty pink mauvish kind of shade on me(I m NC42 in Mac) and  it looks like a pinkish nude on my mom. As far as I can go by the swatches online and with my experience it looks different on every skin tone. I am not a big fan of nude lipsticks but its good for a change. Have no issues with the shade but certainly not my kinda shade. It is a must have for anyone who loves her nudes and browns and mauves. I am happy with my Ruby Woo and Candy Yum Yum kinda shades, they give me life.
The lipstick has a nice very mild vanilla fragrance which is quite soothing. The color stays on my lips for around 4 hours and fades off completely after having meals. It does transfer a lot so if you are someone who loves full on matte lips you can apply a thin layer of translucent powder on top of it to make it completely matte.
Pros of the ColorPop Lumiere Lippie Stix:
- Reasonably priced.
- Sleek packaging.

- Not completely matte so is very comfortable to wear on the lips.

Rating of the ColorPop Lumiere Lippie Stix?

Cons of the ColorPop Lumiere Lippie Stix:
