Dr. Sheth’s Antioxidant Repair Cream Review
Hello Everyone,
I have taken up a pledge that from now on every month I will invest in one skin care or hair care product. Buying tons and tons of makeup and laying it on your skin won’t help you if your skin is not healthy and lacks luster and the glow. I was in search of a good and hydrating night cream for winters as my dry skin feels parched during the harsh weather so I thought of giving the Dr. Sheth’s Antioxidant Repair Cream a shot. Dr. Sheth’s is an Indian brand formulated by dermatologist and their products are specially designed for Indian skin.
About the Brand:
Dr. Sheth’s products are specially designed for Indian skin. They combine nature and science to create an exquisite, medically tested, luxury brand that contains the expertise of three generations of Indian skin doctors.
WHY IS IT DIFFERENT?
This is the only cosmeceutical product on the Indian market with this high a dose of Vitamin E (4%!). Our skin gets so damaged that we need this level of vitamins to repair it.
What does it do?
Vitamin E works to repair the skin, while wheat and berry sugars provide ample hydration. Lecithin, a natural moisturizing factor, plumps up the skin and keeps it supple.
How do I use it?
Apply on face every night after cleansing.

My Take on the Dr. Sheth’s Antioxidant Repair Cream:
The Dr. Sheth’s Antioxidant Repair Cream comes in a white cardboard carton with all the details about the product mentioned on the box. The cream comes in a amber coloured round tub with a golden screw cap. The packaging is cute and travel friendly. You can just pop it in your handbag and it won’t open or spill in your bag.
The cream is white in colour and has a very thick creamy texture to it. The cream has a very strong fragrance to it which might be a problem for people who are allergic to heavily scented products. I have migraine issues and products that have a strong fragrance give me a headache and watery eyes. Dr. Sheth’s products have been formulated by dermatologist and it is surprising that they still added so much artificial fragrance to their products which might be a major issue with a lot of people. I apply this cream right before going to bed and this one certainly gives me a heavy feeling. The fragrance takes around an hour to go off so that is a major issue I wanted to pint out with this cream. So if you are anyone who can’t tolerate strong fragrances, please stay away from this cream.
Dr. Sheth’s Antioxidant Repair Cream has a very creamy texture to it, it glides on the skin effortlessly and gets absorbed into the skin within a minute of application. It is a highly hydrating and moisturizing cream for dry skin girls but if you are on the oilier side, then this product is certainly not for you as it is a very heavy cream specially formulated for someone who has dry skin.
Dr. Sheth’s Antioxidant Repair Cream claims that it has a high concentration of Vitamin E (the highest on the Indian market) which serves as an excellent antioxidant which can repair the skin. It also contains Lecithin which is a natural moisturizing factor that rehydrates the skin. The brand also claims that this product brightens, tightens and clarifies the skin. This was all about the brand claims, now let’s come down to the reality and the actual performance of the cream.
I have been using the Dr. Sheth’s Antioxidant Repair Cream for the past one and a half months regularly at night. I wash my face at night with a powder face cleanser and then I apply a generous amount of the cream on my face and neck. The cream hydrates, nourishes and moisturizes the skin because of the presence of Vitamin E in it. It makes the skin soft and gets rid of any dry patches on the face. Other than that Dr. Sheth’s Antioxidant Repair Cream does not do anything for my skin. The company claims that this product will brighten, tighten and clarify the skin but I am sorry to say that this cream does not live upto its claims at all. It does not give any brightening or tightening effect to the skin. I have pretty clear skin but I have a few sun spots on my cheeks and my forehead is a tad bit darker than the rest of my face but this cream does not help me at all in clearing or brightening the skin at all.
I wanted a cream that could brighten up my skin tone and even out my complexion a bit but this one has been a total disappointment for me. There are some products that you apply at night and in the morning you feel like your skin is looking bright and glowing from within but the that Dr. Sheth’s Antioxidant Repair Cream does not do anything for my skin other than hydrating and moisturizing it.
So if you are looking for a highly hydrating and moisturizing cream then go for it but if you are looking to clear up your skin or for brightening your skin then don’t go for this one. You might end up just wasting your money.

I don’t think so, there are a lot of other creams that are available in the market which are better than this one.
I will skip this as I have oily skin plus I get headache due to strong fragrance.
Yeah Sonali, the strong fragrance is a major issue.
That looks interesting!! Would love to try that too. Thanks for sharing!
I cannot tolerate strong fragrances..and this seems like a dud anyway, thanks for the honest review 🙂
