      L’Oreal has been surprising the Indian markets with their new launches lately.L’Oreal new La Palette Nude-Beige and Rose are the latest to join the brigade of neutral palettes to hit the Indian markets.These Palettes were launched around the world except India quite a while before,there were tons of makeup videos on Youtube which were created using these palettes,I was waiting very impatiently for these palettes to launch in India and finally…here they are.So lets get started with the L’Oreal La Palette Nude Rose:Review and Swatches.

             I always prefer eyeshadow palettes over single eyeshadows because I find it really cumbersome to look for different eyeshadows to create a look.I prefer picking up a palette and creating a look with it rather than picking up 2-3 different eyeshadows. Basically I find it much more convenient.I am a eyeshadow palette hoarder,I love collecting eyeshadow palettes and when L’Oreal launched the much awaited L’Oreal La Palette Nude in India I had to grab it.La Palettte Nude has 2 variants to it-Beige and Rose.I had a lot of nude eyeshadow palettes so I decided to buy the rose hued palette this time.

Shades:This palette has a total of 10 shades:4 mattes and 6 shimmer eyeshadows.
Shades Available and Swatches:
1.The first shade is a shimmery creamy white shade.It is a nice brow highlighter and also great to highlight the inner corner of the eye.

2.The second shade is a pretty pink gold taupe shade.It is a very pretty shade with nice pigmentation.

3.The third shade is a dusty mauve matte shade.It is the perfect matte lid colour.

4.The fourth shade is a medium chocolate brown taupe matte shade.It is very buttery and soft in texture.

5.The fifth shade is a shimmery pinkish champagne shade with a satin finish.It is a perfect night party colour for the lid.Can work as a highlighter too.

6.The sixth shade is a chocolate brown shimmery shade.It is a beautiful nicely pigmented colour and is quite smooth.

7.The seventh shade is a deeper dusty rose matte shade.It is a very pigmented shade and is the perfect transition shade.

8.The eight shade is a silvery taupe cream nude shade.It is easy to build up.

9.The ninth shade is a matte grey shade.

10.The tenth shade is a deep purple plum shade.It is a very pretty smokey eye colour shade.

 

Packaging of the L’Oreal La Palette Nude Rose:I totally adore the packaging of this palette.It has a glossy, black plastic case which looks very classy and chic yet it is sturdy.

It is not like those flimsy plastic packaging,it is very sleek and travel friendly.

The case is so sleek that can easily be popped into your handbag and can be carried for touch ups.

There is a full size mirror inside it and it also comes with a double sided brush which has a sponge applicator on one side and a brush on the other side.The double sided brush that comes with the palette is better than all the applicators that I have received so far with all the other palettes.On one side it is just the usual sponge tip applicator and on the other side is a brush that works fairly well to pack on the colour on the lid and also works to deposit colour in the outer V of the eye and in the outer crease.Ain’t the best brush but isn’t useless either.

My Experience with the L’Oreal La Palette Nude Rose:
To start with this palette has 10 eyeshadows -four matte and six shimmer eyeshadows.It is a beautiful rose hued nude palette.I am in awe of this palette.L’Oreal La Palette Nude Rose is a purple toned palette that contains a mix of cooler taupe mauves and some cool mattes. It has become my go to palette ever since I got hold of this.It has all the shades one needs to create a perfect eye look.It has some great daytime shades which are perfect for office wear and there are some amazing shimmery night party shades,so you can carry just one palette and convert a day time look to a funky party look in no time.It is a perfect daily look and party palette.You can create different eye looks,from sophiticated elegant look to sultry party look.

           The matte shades in this palette are much more buttery,smooth and they easily glide/blend on the lid,they have good colour pay off and are highly pigmented.The only thing that bothers me is that some of the matte shades are a bit chalky,sort of dry in texture but I still love this palette.The matte shades blended and showed up beautifully on my lid.The shimmer ones are lovely and pigmented.The shimmery shades are easy to work with but they are a little bit of fall out.I personally do my eyes first and my foundation and concealer after that so that fall out doesn’t bother me but if you do your foundation first remember to dust some loose powder under your eyes while working with the shimmer eyeshdows.The shimmery ones are nicely milled powders and have good colour pay off.

Staying Power of the L’Oreal La Palette Nude Rose:
The colour wear time is surprisingly long,they usually stay on my lids for a good 5-6 hours without creasing or fading away.

Is the New L’Oreal La Palette Nude Rose worth buying or not??
It is rather an expensive product from a drugstore brand but I would say that if you love wearing pinks and purples on your lids and don’t own any other similar palette this one would be a great product to spend your money on.I think L’Oreal has done an amazing job with the colour selection,the colours are wearable for people of any skin tone.Overall,it is a big YES from my side.It has the perfect shades for creating that glamorous sophisticated eye looks which makes it worth buying.
