It’s that time of the year when we all loose insane amount of hair due to the rainy season. I had been using the WOW Skin Science Total Radiance Argan Oil Shampoo for the last 5 months and I just loved it. But being a beauty blogger I have to keep on trying different products for reviewing on my blog. Last week a Youtuber recommended MCaffeine Bouncy Techno Caffeine Shampoo in her favourites video so I decided to give this one a shot as caffeine in the ingredient list sort of intrigued me.

My Experience with the MCaffeine Bouncy Techno Caffeine Shampoo:

The MCaffeine Bouncy Techno Caffeine Shampoo comes in a round transparent pump dispenser bottle. I really like when brands come up with pump dispensers in their product because you can actually control the amount of product you need. The shampoo is white in colour and has a gel like consistency, neither too thick nor too runny. It has a very soothing faint smell to it which lingers on my hair for the entire day.

I try to order stuff/shampoos that are sulfate and paraben free but when the Youtuber recommended this shampoo she said it is paraben free and I sort of misinterpreted or misunderstood and thought it is sulfate free too and ordred it without checking the ingredient list. When I received this last month I checked the ingredient list and it had sulfates in it but since I had ordred this I had to use this.

I have been using the MCaffeine Bouncy Techno Caffeine Shampoo for the past 20 days and I kinda have a love hate relationship with this one. I have a very oily scalp and the major concern that I have is that my scalp becomes oily the very next day after shampooing. The WOW Skin Science Total Radiance Argan Oil Shampoo helped me to balance the oil production on my scalp to a large extent and I was pretty satisfied with it. The MCaffeine Bouncy Techno Caffeine Shampoo cleans the hair and scalp pretty well. I have a habit of heavily oiling my hair prior to a head wash and this shampoo removes all traces of shampoo from my hair. It gently cleanses the hair without making it dry or rough. It makes my hair silky and shiny.

The only issue that I have with the MCaffeine Bouncy Techno Caffeine Shampoo is that it increases my hairfall, means if I loose 20 hair strands with the Wow Argan Oil Shampoo I loose about 40 hair starnds with this one(after the hair wash). Then I went back to my WOW Skin Science Total Radiance Argan Oil Shampoo and my hair fall decreased. I don’t know whether this hair fall issue is directly linked to this shampoo or not but I have noticed it twice. As I told you that I have a very oily scalp and my scalp becomes oily the very next day after washing my hair but with this one I have been washing my hair every alternate day. It has controlled the abnormal oil production on my scalp but only to a certain extent, not completely.

All in all, an OK shampoo, nothing too great and nothing too bad about this one. You can give it a shot if you are ok with the presence of sulfates in it. I personally do not prefer sulfates in my hair products so I won’t be reordering this one. I have ordered the WowApple Cider Vinegar Shampoo this week, will try it out and will be posting the review next month.
