The The Face Shop Smart Peeling Honey Black Sugar Scrub comes in a big white tube packaging with the all details about the product mentioned on the tube itself. It has a flip open cap which makes it easy to dispense just the right amount of product that you need every time. The scrub is very thick in consistency and has lots of minute sugar granules in it. The scrub is dark brown in colour and it has a thick gel like consistency. The scrub has a very mild soothing smell to it.

I know in this era of chemical exfoliation I am very old school and I like to physically exfoliate my skin every week. The scrubbing of the minute sugar granules on my skin gives me the satisfaction that my skin is being exfoliated as I can see the blackheads and whiteheads actually being removed which is a very satisfactory feeling. The sugar crystals in this scrub are very minute and they do not cause any micro tear on my skin.

I generally like to exfoliate my skin once every week. I steam my face for 4-5 minutes before scrubbing my face so that all my pores are open and when I scrub my skin all the gunk and sebum is removed and my skin is deeply cleansed. I take a pea size amount of the scrub, add in 1 drop of water and then I gently scrub my face for 2-3 minutes in circular motions. Steaming loosens up the whiteheads and blackheads and makes the exfoliation process very easy and effective too. The scrub has a very thick consistency and it gives a very warm feeling once you scrub your face with it. After scrubbing my face with it for 3 minutes I wash off my face with lukewarm water. The results of the scrub are just phenomenal. You will see instant results, your skin will feel very smooth, all your blackheads and whiteheads will be gone and you will have instant bright and clear skin. I spray rose hydrosol all over my face after scrubbing and then I apply my serum and face oils as usual.
