I have been into powder face cleansers for over a year now and my skin hasn’t felt this good ever. I am just obsessed with powder face cleansers. The best thing about powder cleansers is that you can make them yourself, you can add in whatever ingredients you want to use on your skin, they are all natural and they are so light on the pocket. I have completely stopped using the commercial face wash and my skin is loving the transition.

Few days back Vanya sent over their Haldi Clear Tulsi and Turmeric Oil Face Cleanser to test it out. Vanya being an all natural and herbal brand I decided to give their oil face cleanser a shot. It has ingredients like tulsi and turmeric which got me intrigued to try it out. It’s been a couple of days since I have been using it and I thought this is the right time to review it for you guys…

My Experience with the Vanya Haldi Clear Tulsi and Turmeric Oil Face Cleanser:

The Vanya Haldi Clear Tulsi and Turmeric Oil Face Cleanser comes in a light grey and yellow cardboard packaging with all the details about the product mentioned on the packaging itself. The cleanser comes in a round steel container with a screw lid, kind of steel ki dibbi sort of a container, which I totally love. It is high time that we restrict the use of plastics in our daily lives and product packaging like these are the way to go for it. So a big thumbs up to Vanya for the lovely packaging. I know this kind of packaging is a little unhygienic because we have to dunk our fingers in it every time we have to use the cleanser but I like to keep a wooden spoon with my cleanser to take it out so that I don’t have to dip my fingers in the tin every time.

To be honest I was expecting this cleanser to be in the form of a cleansing balm but I was kind of surprised when I opened the container. The Vanya Haldi Clear Tulsi and Turmeric Oil Face Cleanser is in a very creamy lotion kind of texture. The cleanser has a very soothing herbal woody kind of fragrance which is very mild.

I love how the cleanser smells, it is a very unusual kind of smell for a cleanser. I like to take around 1 Tsp of the cleanser, rub it between my fingers and then massage it on my damp skin for about a minute. The cleanser removes all the dirt and grime from my face in one go. It feels very creamy in texture and is also very light on the skin. It doesn’t lather much as it does not have any surfactants in it but it deeply cleanses the skin. The Vanya Haldi Clear Tulsi and Turmeric Oil Face Cleanser does not dry out the skin at all. I am a dry skin type and usually after using any face wash my skin feels very dry and parched but after using this cleanser my skin does not feel dry at all. It does not dry out the skin so if you have dry to combination skin this cleanser is perfect for you. I love how gentle this cleanser is on the skin, it does not have any harsh chemicals or harmful ingredients in it which is why I have been loving this cleanser so much.

I never thought I will ever stop using powder face cleansers but after using the Vanya Haldi Clear Tulsi and Turmeric Oil Face Cleanser I am probably going to stick to these type of creamy cleansers for a while.

The Vanya Haldi Clear Tulsi and Turmeric Oil Face Cleanser has ingredients like turmeric essential oil which brightens your skin while tulsi provides antifungal properties combined with the natural astringent properties of juniper. It also contains glycolic acid. Glycolic acid is the holy grail for exfoliation, it effectively removes the outermost layer of dead cells revealing bright and clearer skin. Products that contain Glycolic acid are used to treat scarring, skin discoloration and dark spots. The Vanya Haldi Clear Tulsi and Turmeric Oil Face Cleanser gives a very mild tingling sensation while massaging it on the skin which is because of the Glycolic acid present in it, I guess. I have been using the Vanya Haldi Clear Tulsi and Turmeric Oil Face Cleanser for around 10 days and I feel it has evened out my complexion a tad bit and it also gives me squeaky clean and bright skin post usage.

The only con that I would like to point out is the price of this face cleanser. The cleanser retails for Rs.695 for 60 grams which is a little bit on the steeper side.  One tin will easily last you for around 2 months but I wish that the cleanser was a little more in quantity around 100 grams at this price point.

Guys if you are looking for an all natural and herbal face cleanser then you should definitely go for it. The Vanya Haldi Clear Tulsi and Turmeric Oil Face Cleanser is a very mild face cleanser which removes all the dirt and grime from your skin without stripping the skin of its natural oils. It suits all skin types so anyone can use it without fussing over the ingredients. It does not dry out the skin and also plumps up the skin. The Glycolic acid present in it will definitely help in clearing out the complexion and will give you an even skin tone. It is 100% vegetarian and the products have not been tested on animals so that is a big YAYYY!!
