Today I will be reviewing the Vichy Ideal White Meta Whitening Sleeping Mask. Sleeping masks have been a rage this year so I also jumped on the bandwagon and got hold of two sleeping mask, one is the Vichy Ideal White Meta Whitening Sleeping Mask and the other one is the very famous Laneige Sleeping Mask. I have been using the Vichy Ideal White Meta Whitening Sleeping Mask for the past one month but I am yet to try out the Laneige one.

How to Use the Vichy Ideal White Meta Whitening Sleeping Mask Review:
-As a night care, every evening:apply a thin, even layer to the skin and massage until complete penetration.
– As a sleeping mask 1 or 2 times a week: apply in thick layers and gently massage any excess into the skin. Avoid eye and lip area.

My Experience with the Vichy Ideal White Meta Whitening Sleeping Mask:
The Vichy Ideal White Meta Whitening Sleeping Mask comes in a white cardboard carton box with all the details about the product mentioned on it. The sleeping mask comes in a very heavy glass tub which looks and feels so luxurious. I am sucker for glass packaging. I love when my products come in luxurious glass jars. I know they are not travel friendly and they are prone to breakage but who cares as long as the packaging looks so chic and classy. The jar has screw lid and the lid has a cute mirror on it.
The Vichy Ideal White Meta Whitening Sleeping Mask has a very light weight gel like consistency with very tiny white beads in it. The sleeping mask is light pink in colour and it smells so divine. It has a very soothing rosy smell to it. I just love how this sleep mask smells, the smell is itself so comforting and relaxing.
Vichy suggests to use this product in two ways. You can either use it as a night cream everyday or you can use it one to two times a week as a sleeping mask. I personally haven’t used it as a night cream because currently I am using Mama Earth’s night cream and as I have to review it I did not wanted to use another night cream with it simultaneously. I have used the Vichy Ideal White Meta Whitening Sleeping Mask as a sleeping mask and I must say I am in love with it. This is the first sleep mask that I have ever tried and I am bowled over with the results.
I apply the Vichy Ideal White Meta Whitening Sleeping Mask twice a week after cleansing and toning my face. I like to keep my mask in the fridge for about 30 minutes before application and like to apply the chilled mask on my skin. I use a silicone brush to apply this sleeping mask. I take a good amount of the mask and apply a thick layer all over my face and neck. After application I leave the mask to sit on my skin for a good 30 minutes.  The chilled sleeping mask gives such a soothing and calming effect to my skin, it shrinks my pores and also calms down any irritation on my skin. After 30 minutes I massage it into my skin and the gel completely sinks into my skin within 2-3 minutes. I can actually feel the beads melt into my skin, they are super minute and not at all harsh on the skin. I am a dry skin type and my skin feels super hydrated instantly after application of this sleeping mask. I leave the sleeping mask on my skin and the next morning I wake up with bright, glowing and radiant looking skin.
The Vichy Ideal White Meta Whitening Sleeping Mask is like a elixir for your skin, it makes the skin so soft and supple post application. I do not have any dark spots on my face so I can’t comment on whether this mask helps to fade them or not but it definitely does brightens up the complexion. The Vichy Ideal White Meta Whitening Sleeping Mask has been dermatologically tested and is safe to use on sensitive skin. It is also paraben free. I have been using the Vichy Ideal White Meta Whitening Sleeping Mask for the past one month and I still have more than half of the product left so it will easily last you around 3-4 months. So a little goes a long way.
