I am always in the hunt for a good chemical free shampoo that cleans my scalp and doesn’t build up on my hair and scalp. In my search for a good sulfate and paraben free shampoo I came across this brand WOW which has a complete array of sulphate, silicone and paraben free shampoo.I picked up the WOW Skin Science Total Radiance Argan Oil Shampoo as I love anything that has argan oil in it.

My Experience with the WOW Skin Science Total Radiance Argan Oil Shampoo:

The WOW Skin Science Total Radiance Argan Oil Shampoo comes in a dark brown coloured see through plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. I love the pump dispenser as I am able to pump out the exact amount of shampoo that I need. The shampoo is opaque and has a gel like consistency, neither too runny nor too thick. It has a very faint and soothing smell which lingers on my hair for quite a long time.

I have been using the WOW Skin Science Total Radiance Argan Oil Shampoo for the past one and a half month and my hair is just loving it. (I have waist length wavy hair with oily scalp).I was in search of a shampoo that was sulphate, silicone and paraben free and a shampoo that could help me with my over excessive oily scalp. My scalp becomes oily on the next day after washing my hair and for the past 3-4 months I had been washing my hair every second days because of the abnormal production of oil by my scalp.

The first time I used this shampoo it tangled my hair so badly and it didn’t even clean my hair completely. I was somehow disappointed with it because it didn’t remove the oil from my scalp at all and on top of that it tangled my hair like hell, it took me almost half an hour to detangle my hair.  Next time I washed my hair I tried one trick and that helped me a lot. I mixed around 4-5 Tbsp of water in the shampoo and I flipped my head upside down, applied the shampoo mix on my scalp and massaged it all the way through my hair and scalp. I usually massage my hair for a minute or two, leave the shampoo on my hair for a minute and then I rinse it off.  This time my hair didn’t tangle at all and it was all smooth, silky and shiny. The shampoo removed all the oil from my hair and scalp, my hair was so soft and shiny.

I drench my hair in oil before shampooing it and this shampoo removes all the traces of oil from my hair and makes it silky and soft. It is a sulphate, silicone and paraben free shampoo but it lathers pretty well and makes my hair squeaky clean. The Wow Skin Science Total Radiance Argan Oil Shampoo has also managed to control the abnormal oil production on my scalp. Now I shampoo my hair twice a week and my scalp doesn’t turn into a oil pot, all thanks to this shampoo.

All in all, a very good shampoo for your hair as it is sulphate, silicone and paraben free and it does its job perfectly. My husband also uses the same shampoo and he also loves it. I haven’t been using a hair conditioner with this shampoo and still my frizzy hair stays manageable and all smooth throughout. I will definitely be trying other variants from WOW as I have heard really good things about the Apple Cider Vingear variant too.
